Happy sunny day

I fell asleep on the couch last night and then I woke up around 4AM and went to bed except I could not fall back to sleep for the longest time. Regular morning stuff around here - Nick takes pride in the fact that he can now get himself completely dressed. Ellie got off to the bus and then Nick finished his breakfast. Mom and Dad were picking us up this morning to drop Nick off at school and then we were going grocery shopping.
We dropped Nick off and then we went shopping. Stocked up on fruit and staples for the week. We finished shopping and checked out with the slowest cashier in history. We went to get Nick and Dad walked up to get him - delighted little boy. We dropped our groceries at home and then Nick and I hit a garage sale on our way to Mom and Dad's house.
The sale was advertised as a moving sale with very specific brands listed - brio & barbie were what we were going for. Prices were a joke - they wanted $40 for a shoe box of crappy track and trains however the barbie dolls were very well taken care of for a mere $.50 a piece. We stopped and picked up lunch on our way to Mom's. We ate lunch and then Dad took Nick for a walk and to the park and came back to play in the yard. I helped Mom paint flower pots.
We changed Scarlett out and for whatever reason the last couple changes the wax ring has broken its seal. Not to the point of major leakage issues but still not good for the skin breakdown. I guess it is time to bid farewell to Scarlett. Nick and I came home to get Ellie and we stayed outside for the rest of the afternoon. Nick had a few injuries - a bloody top lip and gum, a bloody bottom lip, a finger scrape - he was a walking accident.
All the neighborhood kids were here and they played with chalk, rode bikes, played hide and seek and jumped in the trampoline. Rob got home a bit before 6PM and we called the kids in for bath time and dinner. Ellie took a very long shower and when I went in to see what was taking so long she was sitting in the tub (shower on) trying to pumice her feet. I got Nick in the tub and Rob nicely massaged my back while we waited for him to be finished playing. Ellie and Nick snacked in the basement and played with barbies.
We did bedtime and we've been playing on our computers and listening to tv. Visualising my healthy and continually healing body and the new normal, Tree
