Just the highlights because it is soooo humid and gross that the keys on the keyboard are even sticking. We had a 2 hour power outage right after I last posted - Rob took the kids down to the Lake to cool off. We've been all over - St. Joe's Curious Kids museum and the sprinkler park there. Holland for some thrift shopping and all the big boys took the kids mini-golfing, bumper car riding and arcading.
We had Edwin's birthday meal right on the water in Saugatuck yesterday. The kids saw the duck boats and the huge paddle boat and want to come back to go for a ride another time. Dean and I went to a coupe wineries because he needed some gifts.
We have spent most afternoons on the beach - the water progressively warms a bit more each day. Ellie and I have been able to finish 3 books so far. I can't stand being in this room to much longer - no air conditioning and it is just sticky.
Dean left last night to go back home. Ellie has been enjoying clubhouse - pancake breakfast, bunko, clue hunt tonight. Nick has been a busy boy too - he has figured out that if he asks me for money for the soda bar he gets 2 quarters and that is what it takes to play the video games. We bought a tiny boat today - just a blow up one that holds about 120 pounds but the kids really liked it.
