Happy 3rd

Another long day...thus a shorter post. We had another good night of sleep. This morning we got up and started working right away on painting and moving furniture. We were able to get all Ellie's furniture painted and her old furniture moved out of her room. We were even able to get the doorknobs back on and a couple of things moved back into place. Ellie's room will need a real good floor washing before we finally move her in.
This afternoon we dropped the kids at Mom and Dad's and then Rob and I went to the memorial service for Sandy. It was a very fitting service for Sandy. We came back to Mom and Dad's for Family Sunday. Uncle Bry came down from Baraboo. Unfortunately, by the time we got back the GG's were saying their goodbyes - so we didn't get to visit with them.
We had a great night watching the kids play and visiting. The kids entertained with picking mulberries and catching lightening bugs and running around with flashlights. Mom's neighbor, Katherine, joined us for a bit.
We came home and found costumes for the kids for the parade tomorrow. There was just too much going on this week to figure out a cool idea for them. We were going to decorate bikes but ran out of time. We got the kids to sleep and then Rob went up to bed too.
So, my incision is pretty sore today. Nick was trying to cuddle with me earlier and I got elbowed right in it and now it just is sort of achy. My feet and back are feeling all the work we did this weekend. Visualising my healthy and continually healing body and the new normal, Tree
